You have the power to change hopelessness to hopefulness. Your current situation is a testimony to help someone else.
In a world with violence, confusion, and hopelessness, it’s easy to lose focus and become distracted. We are living in a time of identity crisis. A crisis that has gone on from generation to generation and the subtle attacks on human life begins with their identity. Have you ever asked yourself the question, who am I? What is my purpose? Why do I feel invisible? Well, if you’ve answered yes, I have good news… you have the power to change hopelessness to hopefulness. How? Because of grace.
Grace isn’t a person or thing. Grace is the essence of God’s favor on your life. Favor? You may wonder why I would use that word when so much turmoil is going on in your life. Because, favor is accessed by grace. Favor isn’t about you. Favor is about how you will be used to bless someone else.
When we go through seasons of unrest, it’s almost blinding to see the next step in front of us. We often lose hope or stop dreaming at all. Fear creeps into our lives so subtle that we sometimes can’t even see the change. We look up one day and ask ourselves, how did I get here?
Grace sees you and brings you into a place of peace. Grace shows you how beautiful you are, but you must believe it. I heard a statement recently that was amazingly powerful. It said, “What you see on the inside, you don’t have to struggle to believe.” If you meditate on good thoughts, then what you focus on will manifest on the outside, because your belief receives it.
So, I challenge you. What will you continue to accept in your life? Do you see yourself as valuable? Do you love yourself? Do you even like yourself? Do you enjoy your own company? As you reflect on your current situation, ask yourself if you are giving your power away to someone else. We can’t change the past, but we do have control over our future. Today, allow yourself to love you more.
Change starts with a decision. Start with the image of how you see yourself on the inside. You are graced to be. Live your truth and write your next chapter.
